Is anyone reaching him? Cole outsold him and I prefer Cole over Kendrick, but it's crazy how he doesn't get the respect that Kendrick does. Kendrick is a better rapper, though, and has put out extremely cohesive albums so I can see why.

I've seen everyone put Drake as "the guy" for this generation, but he doesn't get nearly the respect from people within the industry that Kendrick does.

I'm simply asking if anyone will reach his level of respect within hip-hop and outside of hip-hop. Drake is the man commercially, but obviously not critically.
