Yes and anyone who has ever spoken to black Spanish speakers knows this. They practice white supremacy in Latin America and they will practice it here in America.

Republicans are stupid as hell not trying to court their votes. They agree on a majority of things that conservatives do. They love whiteness, they have big families, are extremely religious, and obsess over personal responsibility.

Democrats, pandering to them will only shift the party further right to the point where Republicans are straight up open fascists and democrats are racist Republicans.

Don’t know about being more oppressed, but I don’t see the foot on neck letting up. I also feel those that tell you not to worry, specifically other blacks in this country, say that from a place of comfort aka they’re only looking out for self and theirs.

You see it in South Florida, and I’m not trying to sound like an elitist or one of those passport gang snobs, but if you’ve been to these Latin America countries and even some of the Caribbean, you see that dynamic at play. The whites, lighter blacks, and darker skin blacks with money do well, but it’s hell for the darker skinned blacks who don’t have the resources. I don’t want that in America, and I will do what I can to avoid that here in the states.

My moms would give money to all the Haitians and darker hued Dominicans because she was educated enough to know the dynamics. Peep this shyt out, my pops family was upset she was giving Haitians money.

My moms went off on em and went out her way to show Haitians love. For reference my grandmother from DR looks like a white Spaniard from europe

That’s the problem. Folks who aren’t even really for them using them as a battle point in topics where it’s beneficial. Got super Dems in here bringing up reparations and when you go check threads in the past, it’s them telling you to stop bringing it up or it’s not going to happen. That’s disingenuous behavior

As opposed to who? Latinos support reparations at triple the rate that Whites do and 10x the rate that Republicans do. There are posters here who literally said that Donald Trump was going to give the Black community reparations, but it's impossible that it will happen under a Latino president?

Obviously those #'s need to go up a LOT in order for reparations to happen, I struggle to see how anyone can read that and come to the conclusion that a Latino president is less likely to give reparations than the current batch of white leaders.

I AGREE WITH REPARATIONS...but look around. I dont even think most DEMOCRATS will vote for it. And you know NO republicans will. I'm just not seeing a way forward.
