No shots; the biggest market in rap are young white kids and women.

How would you market "grown man" Rap to them?

Track 1; don't go to the club, you got work tomorrow/you should wake up early and take your kid to the park?

You saw what happened to Jay (Kingdom Come was more self indulgent than "grown") and how he had to switch it up, again, and drop Reasonable Doubt 2?

Nah I hear you, Its never gonna be a mainstream thing, its unlogical to expect it from mainstream rappers too.

Anyway theres enough people out there doing that grown raps on the underground that I listen to so its all good

I hope so. Would like to see Dre churning out beats for the artists on his label and launching careers again instead of rapping.

Compton was mediocre as fukk.

Dre should have made it a straight west coast album. It sounded schizophrenic with a bunch of no name bums on it.

You haven't listened to a Dre album. All three of them feature a bunch of no name bums. The difference is that some of them blew up to become superstars.

Yeah I like Jon Conner , RIP MC Breed:salute:
I think I read that Connor was Em's call.
I'd like another project from him though.
He spit absolute fire on Unconcious state

:whew:

He also dropped an entire mixtape using Em beats which he didn't do too bad on flowing on

^this is the better question^
time has passed him by, and yes to the people who will come in here and say "not dr. dre". yes, dr. dre too. he's no exception to the rule. his day has come and gone

Dr. Dre leaks a new album today and people will still check for it simply because it's Dre. No, it won't get the reception of the Chronic albums, but it'll still garner a considerable amount of attention.
