Dr. Dre leaks a new album today and people will still check for it simply because it's Dre. No, it won't get the reception of the Chronic albums, but it'll still garner a considerable amount of attention.

true but if ain't poppin', it'll be forgotten and dumped into just bout everyones' recycle bin after a listen or 2, just like "compton" was for the most part most people

You haven't listened to a Dre album. All three of them feature a bunch of no name bums. The difference is that some of them blew up to become superstars.
Yeah, you're right. Ive never listened to a dre album.

And yeah, snoop, kurupt and them were bums. Nobody liked their appearances on the chronic at all

And you're right. Xzhibit, kurupt, nate dogg, snoop, eminem, were some real no names on 2001. And nobody liked hittman.

fukk outta here dumb ass.

Can't even name 1 memorable verse on compton.

It wasn't about who liked the appearances. The point is aside from Snoop ("Deep Cover"), D.O.C. (Nobody Does It Better) and Eminem (Slim Shady LP), nobody knew who the rest of them were. And act like X, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Snoop, and Em were the only features. RBX, Knoc, Hitman, Ms. Roq, and a few others landed their first major appearances on The Chronic albums. So think before you call someone dumb.

Depends on he feels

There is no age limit on being an artist, you just gotta adjust with the times and perspective and life and put it in music.

"Compton" shouldn't be his last album IMO.

I wonder how much the vintage Death Row vault really has left, or does it even exist at this point. Dre gotta enough bread where he could buy Death Row a thousand times over today. It makes me think why he hasn't done that yet. He could make an album of the old shyt autobiography style and drop all that unreleased heat.
