He should. He is a HOF special teamer.

People don't give the ST love, but he is definitely HOF as he is one of the best ever, if not the best, to do what he is paid to do

No, epecially since the kickoff has been pushed up and punters are trying to kick out of bounds. He is going to see less touches and his impact will be diminished.

even if he doesn't touch the ball on ST he affects the game

teams are still kicking it out of bounds and literally giving the bears good field position because they don't even want to risk the thought of hester taking it to the house.

he's a big part of the bears success. these dudes stay getting the ball at their own 40 at least. :ehh:

the funny thing is he's not as bad of a WR as some try to make him seem.

he's not andre johnson or nothing but he can stretch the field and do a little something off screens. he had a 665 & 757 yard receiving season in 08 & 09.

that bum jacoby jones never had 1 season over 600 yards receiving :damn:

he at least contributes on offense somewhat.

When its all said and done, nobody is going to remember him as a WR. But with out a doubt he's going to the HOF.:obama:

I post that not to say that Hester shouldn't be in the HOF. He's a great player to watch, and no doubt that he is a game changer. However, when you have a player that is more than a specialist, and is a game changer at his true position as well, it makes it hard to vote for someone who is just a great return man.

I think that a lot of voters will wait to see if Peterson breaks/ties Hester's numbers before they vote for Hester.

:childplease:

you seen how many returns we had last year even with that stupid rule ?

and word on the streets is Hester's role as a WR is gonna be much more important this year. I expect a breakout year for his at this position
