definitely see this happening,

also see him making jokes about his music career in movies and comedy skits :ehh:
I more likely see him making light of this incident in a Saturday Night Live episode . . his PR team is working double time - that shyt was trending on Twitter, Facebook - even Time covered it under the context of the ramifications for his disingenuous disposition

I could see Drake was a manufactured star from day 1 thats why I never fukked with him. In the 90's he never wouldve gotten big in the first place ghostwriting or not. But with the state of hip hop these days its not a big deal as far as his career :yeshrug:

He's gunna have a bar like
"See everytime you successful them haters they come along, Drake paid for a hot line, and Drake made it a hot song"
Trust me. It's going to be some variation of that Jay-Z line.

I dont like drake and i enjoy him getting exposed.. but ion know :patrice: to many thots and cacs fukk with drake... we have to see what happens if he drops his next album and it still does numbers or not.

Edit: drake will not be respected by people who really like hip hop, but he will still be respected by thots, cacs, and people who only like a hot track.

Edit 2: i still want to see a DMX interview, he never liked drake from the start and i bet he ready for a rant on his ass being fake.
X gotta get outta jail first :mjlol:

For all you younger heads, Google Milli Vanilli. They were a huge rnb/pop act who were not only exposed on stage for lip-syncing, but then found out that other ppl were writing and SINGING their songs on the records.

Their career was over literally over night. They had to give Grammy's back and other major awards.

Do ppl nowdays care about authenticity, or just a hot record?

We all knew Dr Dre was ghosted by Snoop and others, but nobody respected Dre as a lyricist anyway.

If all this is true will Drake survive and still be respected by fans?
How is this the same thing?

I find it funny that this is even a conversation. I thought it was known that he didn't write all of his own raps. Dude was always a performer and a talented one at that. I don't think it'll hurt his career though.

The year 3030
mister downplay over here:upsetfavre:

He's kinda right though about anything making headlines now and days. I know the media dikkrides Em...but that Eminem freestyle was a trending topic/made headlines because he said some shyt about Tranny Jenner, amongst other things.

A fukking freestyle made the headlines...let that sink in for a minute.

I mean, if Kendrick wanted to end him he could right now, Drake will be fine as long as other rappers close to his own stature don't get at him.

Kendrick is not good enough in any battle capacity to end drake., fully staffed properly.
.duke was getting and got served by Charles Hamilton.
a guy rhymefest and serius Jones handled like common fodder in eight bars apiece.
let's please stop overrating how skilled kendikk is.
plus, real talk...
I think all the attention kl gets from cash money is because I think he wrote the first carter III, and the remade series of records on the store bought carter III, as well.
as part of the interscope/universal record publishing pool.
it is no coincidence, he was given a large pr draw and permeation.
As, it would make sense to authenticate that type of budget to kl.
all, because he wrote and had receipts draw wise from the sales envelope of the original bootleg carter III.
plus, he also had an even large fully authenticated draw for rewriting the songs on the orginam carter III.
repackaged and remade as a series followup records on the major label released carter iii.
