Maybe that's accurate. But the difference being that Ye' had a career well before being a rapper and was a part of legendary tracks and projects before he even dropped a 16 in the studio. They're different. Ye's musical direction is behind Jay-Z's best album.
I've probably been listening to him longer than you. Fact is, you're someone willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. And that's fine. But there are people who won't. Especially now that we know he's not writing some of his stuff. He was in the Jay lane before. Now he's basically Diddy. Because at the end of the day, Ye's claim was never great rapper like Drake's was. Ye's was AMAZING ARTIST, musical genius. etc.
Before July 22nd, Drake was seen as a great rapper. That's all I'm saying. He can't be Kanye if he doesn't have the music to back it up because great rapper was never Kanye's claim, and Ye' (historically. not now) has handled the bulk of his production and a PIECE of his writing. Where Drake has handled virtually NONE, of his production, (40 and 1da have) and now we know a PIECE of his writing.
The weird thing is, as I've said on this board. I thought VFT6 was going to be the project where we all

and the project where he put his stamp on as not only the biggest mainstream talent, but the best rapper hands down. I thought VFT6 would be his Blueprint. Album that really let us know that he's here foreal, and he's a great rapper/artist.
Im not sure that can happen now.
