As someone who lived the Milli Vanilli Era, I don't think this is that bad. LOL. But I've never seen a Mainstream Rapper Exposed by a Reference Track like this. When the Biggie "Queen B!tch" reference dropped, everyone already knew he was the mastermind behind Lil Kim's "Hard Core". He was the executive producer as well. So it wasn't like Hip Hop was shocked Kim didn't write much on that album.

But Milli Vanilli careers litterally ended quick after that record started skipping "Girl you know its, Girl you know it, Girl you know its". LOL. The only comprison I will say is again a mainstream emcee has never been outed by a reference track like this on a big stage. So that's the only thing similar to Milli Vanilla. Those songs were hot too, lol. That album actually sold 6x Platinum too, it was huge.

You think BP is better than RD? :whoa:

Drake can't be Diddy because he's actually talented. Like you've said one of the most vocally gifted rappers to rap and I still think he wrote most of his shyt so to me he has a good pen and his best raps make Miller's 10 Bands verse look like child's play.

To me he already peaked and I felt he dumbed down tremendously on IYRTITL and on much of NWTS even if the music isn't bad. I wouldn't be surprised if VFT6 is scrapped and dude is starting over after this.
Let me clarify. BP means more to Jay's place in the game and means more historically than RD. BP was the album that solidified him and his place in rap.

Diddy is talented as well, ina different way.

You're entitled to your opinion, the difference before was everyone had your opinion. Even me. His pen was never a QUESTION, where as now it is.

We'll see though. It'll interesting how he bounces back from this. Maybe we'll get some great music out of it. Like I said, this doesn't mean people shouldn't listen to him. It just means he can't be in certain debates and he PROBABLY can't say certain things anymore. (Drake ft Drake, Im the best rapper, etc.)

Drake still wrote the majority of his catalog and outside of these forums nikkas don't seem to give a fukk.

They'll clown and go right back to playing 10 Bands. Still the hottest in the game will still go Gold first week, will still have good music.

It's not like Drake was widely respected as a rapper on the Coli anyway. The haters will continue to hate and the fans will continue to support.
you been on this shyt for 3 days breh

being real hasn't mattered for a long time in hip-hop, i think 50 cent's come-up around 03 was the last time ppl cared about authenticity. It seemingly ended a year or so later when Game dropped and was accepted despite being the biggest biter and namedropping muthafukker i've ever seen...so I think aubrey is gonna be aight.

Breh... Nobody is saying he never write but consider this

1. If he "wrote" the rest if 10 bands it would still be in the flow of Q miller, which is a problem. He would have to prove that he wrote it as we cant just give him the benefit of the doubt now.

2. If there is a RICO reference and a Blessings reference, those are 2 songs Q miller isnt credited for, so that opens up a whole host of other questions

So really if the rest if the leaks come out, is there any evidence to suggest at that point that Drake wrote anything?
People have been on here saying he never wrote lol

1. I'm not denying the flow bit, neither is QM, it's out there for the public to see. Based on the official reference tape I'm saying he wrote the rest of 10 Bands. How did the hook end up modified, why was QM's second verse scrapped, there's a second and third verse completely different in terms of writing to the first verse and there's an outro too. Drake had input on this track, there's truth to QM's statements about him freestyling Madonna and writing 6PM, QM isn't credited on those songs too.

2. Those were features if those songs were on Drake's album, QM would be credited. The people writing Sean and Meek's album liner obviously wouldn't know about QM.
i was gonna say, was it just this one song? i havent been following this like that because i dont give a fukk :heh:
Nah, Miller worked on 5 songs from Drake's last mixtape (6 Man, Used To, 10 Bands, No Tellin', Know Yourself) and apparently the R.I.C.O. and Blessings features.

It's unknown how much he did somebody in Drake's camp leaked three reference tapes, we heard one Drake took a verse and the hook for 10 Bands and seems to have done the rest of the track.

Breh I understand the facts... But if he was uncredited for whatever reason that makes him a ghostwriter... Point blank period. Also, theres no evidence to suggest Drake didnt use another writer (Hush) to finish the song. Theres really no reason for us to say he probably did it after we heard him repeat this nikkas flow and bars damn near verbatim

Fans care about authenticity, but Drake fans don't.
If someone like Drake or Big Sean was exposed for not writing lyrics it wouldn't matter.
But if Kendrick or J.Cole did it would definitely effect their career because of what their fanbase expects from them.
Breh if J Cole got exposed for havin ghostwriters id prolly off myself :mjcry:
