Will Fabolous ever drop an album that isn't complete trash?

I always felt like Fab’s stagnation always boiled down to he was a superficial rapper void of anything noteworthy to speak on

Its why I avoided buying anything from The Kiss (Love Him) Cass, Banks, Fab type of crowd

He’s been out for decades but what do you know about him? Sure LL wasn’t the most introspective guy but LL is a legend and it worked for him.

Fab had nothing to offer on a transcendent level so he chased trend after trend after trend. Production, slang, song making etc It never originated with him but he certainly took a swipe at it

He didn’t give birth to any sound nor innovative approach to making albums.

Albeit successful, Fab represents how the wheels came off of NYC. Not as imaginative, charismatic, talented or creative as his predecessors but ripe with connections.
A lot of non introspective rappers make great albums

fab is a punchline rapper and they suck at making albums

This reminds me in 04 when Fab came out with Breathe, and Jada with Why, two of the most anticipated albums of that year. They weren't horrible but weren't great either

Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
Agreed. If Loso' Way had had Breathe on it, I think people would look back at it as being easily his best album.

It had one of my favorite album cuts

yeah fab tried his ass off on loso's way with a remix Jay feature but this was during peak bootlegging era and it got drowned out by gimmick rapper fatigue...fab on albums always does some corporate A&R compromise to not go as hard as he did on There is no competition Vol 2

the mixtape version of young OG is fire but when he put it on the album, he changed the beat into something more tame and it became a snoozefest to impress shallow groupies even though it was the same lyrics

fab kept the original church sample but changed the beat....WHYYYY the new beat is garbage, the chorus singer is garbage and nails on chalkboard...i swear, fab is a mixtape rapper but can't deliver, overthinks, overproduces, over compromises, over dilutes to albums to shyt

Instead of chasing trends and hits, Fabolous would have greatly benefited from having one producer helm his albums. Like he was great at making hit songs, but imagine if his first three albums were helmed by Just Blaze. Then his come back, From Nothing to Something was all 2007 Timbaland considering Timbaland produced "Make Me Better" from that same album. Then he followed that with Alchemist lacing Loso's Way.
