I agree because competition is better than it was during the terrible expansion years. Adding like 8 teams in 7 years is just.
Ridiculous how people never bring that up.

Expansion era is what it is. No excuses.
You had multiple teams winning 50+ games back then and even the expansion teams weren't bad as the Knicks this year or the Bucks last year

8 teams might win 50 games in the west alone this year. Better competition right now easily. When the bulls won 72 games, 7 teams won 50games or more in the entire league.

They got 6 losses right now nikka
You really think no one else in the NBA, in a combined effort, can beat this team at least 4 times?

Pacers through 42 games last year were 34-8, finished with 56What was the Pacers record this time last year?

What the fukk is a combined effort?
But for real, people should really chill on the obsession over 72-10. They were a great team who benefited from a weak, expansion year league. The same year the Spurs won 59, the Magic won 60 and the Sonics won 64.
The Warriors doing what they've done in THIS western conference is, at least to this point, more impressive imo.
Thanks for the info. I don't think we'll get 70 wins. I'd be satisfied with home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Whatever number that ends up being then so be it.Pacers through 42 games last year were 34-8, finished with 56
