They're both medieval fantasies, but Witcher 3's combat system has more variety. Side stories are not mere fetch quests too

I like it. Never played origins but I play inquisition and it's way different from inquisition
Games are nothing alike though. Aside from being RPGs obviously.
I know you didn't ask about it specifically, but "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is dope. It plays more like "Mass Effect 2" than "Origins".

Some of those side quests are better written than most games. Specifically "The Bloody Baron" and "Family Matters". It's like something you'd see on "Game Of Thrones".
Also the world is fukking huge. Bigger than you're imagining, trust me.
The only major downside is the controls/combat are kinda

Dai had a pretty good combat system if I say so myself. U must have not used your skills points effectively.

I don't understand the hate Inquisition gets, it may not be as deep as Witcher but that game is 8/10 easily
I just stared DA:I after beathing the Witcher 3. I gotta say so far DA:I, is a big letdown. W3 spoiled me on good rpgs.
Could have been dope but they got hung up on it being big for big sake like. Why is there much pointless check list shyt to do in Hinterlands? Why are there 8 gigantic areas like this on top? They make you engage in that gutter trash so you can do the story. I'm supposed to have an army at my disposal, let my goons handle that shyt. If they need me to take down a dragon though
Couldn't get that out of my head. Plus the story itself, you can't just run it because if you could the game would be 10 hours or less. I counted around 7 missions. Unlike W3 that's where all the meat is at. W3 can have piff anywhere on the map. Game is big for no reason. Fill the space or cut that shyt out. Game would have been better off as a smaller, tighter experience.
DAI is pretty shallow. theres a lot you do that should matter but kind of doesnt outside of a required stat number
