Remember when you clowns voted Inquisition has Arcadiums GOTY

Now its trash :mjlol:
Happens every year with some new open world games. Dudes swear its the best game ever and not like those other open world games. Then a new one comes along and they finally admit the last one was a dissapointment. Rinse and repeat.

Video games sucked last year though.

Look at the games that came out for xbone and ps4

https://www.google.ca/search?q=2014 games&rlz=1C1CHWA_enCA628CA628&oq=2014 games&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.3821j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8

Bayonetta 2 or Infamous Second Son should have gotten GOTY over Inquisition in my opinion.

Bayonetta 2 or maaaaybe Destiny seem like the only games that could maaaaybe come close. Infamous games never struck me as GOTY material.

No Dragon Age Inquisition requires you do irrelevant side quest to amass enough "power" to do main line quest. For story purposes there's no required reason for you to have this "power" it's just an artificial way to lengthen the game by padding it.

This is likely a game with 15 hours of main story content padded to reach a playtime of twice that length due to required irrelevant content. I'm pretty sure if all you went around doing was main story missions and closing portals between them you'd be short on power to complete the main line quests.

Gotta collect those shards man. :francis:

That has nothing to do with what he's talking about. :snoop:

He was saying you're supposed to be the man in the game and a lot of menial tasks your goons should be able to handle....if we're talking about how Power is a bullshyt system solely to extend the game, ok cool....if we're talking about fetch quests like Shard, ok cool....but for the vast majority of the game you are the face of the inquisition, and there's no reason you'd sit in your castle and not do shyt. Especially not when the entire world is :usure:about your role in the first place.

Hell, even the Shards unlock doors and give treasure, and/or stat bonuses....I dunno if people didn't play long enough to realize that, or what.

I dunno breh. I get it. The portal closing aspect for sure. The rest just seems like laziness in creating compelling things for you to do as the head of a movement. How does getting a dudes sheep back further the movement? Needs to be about power moves, making deals, solving important people's problems and earning favors. Bioware needs to stop making you that dude if they aren't gonna give you that dude things to do.

Maybe I'm just tired of the concept. Game was aight :manny:

If we're talking specifically about the sheep thing, ok. That was kinda goofy.

But you wasn't that dude in the game. You started as a prisoner who nobody trusts. Eventually you become a hero but that's like half way through the game.

Bioware could've better thought out how you build your rep, but I took a lot of the little bullshyt side quests as "ok, this guy tells his neighbor about how the inquisition helped him" because at the time nobody trusted them.

No he is talking about having to do menial bullshyt tasks to get 'power' to advance the game's story, or, if you want to be all Dragon Age about it, make the Inquisitor do utterly pointless shyt so she can save the world, which is completely immersion breaking.

:dahell:

He didn't say a single thing about this in either of his posts. I don't even know how you got that out of what he said.

He was talking about why is your character supposedly "the man" but has to do a bunch of random shyt like helping characters with sheep. Which is a fair point like I said. You came out of left field talking about the shards, which again, actually does give you tangible rewards and some of the most useful gear in the game. As I said, I dunno if you didn't play the game long enough to realize that, or what. Granted, they could've set that up better than a simple "go collect X amount", but to act like it's completely pointless is silly.

Don't understand some of the hate Inquisition gets. Solid game. Just not Witcher 3 level. Got a lot of love when it came out and now people want to say it was trash :comeon:

This happens anytime anything ever drops on the internet. The game was, and is, well received. The same people in here shytting on this game were shytting on "The Witcher 3" too until they realized that wave wasn't going to catch on. I'm sure they'll try again in a few months, like they're doing with "DA:I".
