Will Jay-Z or Nas threads ever stop being made?

99.999999% of cats on here came up in that era when that was THE beef & the defining moment in Hip Hop for those few years. it is THE beef of the era by far, 50 & Ja isn't really all that, Pac & BIG was too long ago for a lot of these younger cats. Jay is probably the biggest rapper of the last 20 years besides Pac & Em and one of them is dead. Nas is the elite MC of the last 20 years, top 5 on most peoples lists, even haters.

maybe in 10 years it will fall off but it's the biggest single beef in Hip Hop history, maybe if BIG & Pac lived and kept beefing it would be bigger but there's no doubt Jay vs Nas is the biggest of the last 15-20 years.

Jay-Z/Nas threads have been going on for 10 years plus even in the SOHH/AHH days and people here are just now wondering why they continue especially when most people here came from those boards?

yeah it's dead but it's the biggest event outside of BIG & Pac getting killed, it's def the biggest thing for this generation. it was 2 high level MC's going at it & the songs were popular, albums were popular.

young people especially (and people with little to no lives of their own) get waaaay too involved in other peoples lives. they live their whole lives vicariously through these rappers so when their fav MC gets dissed they take it very personally.
