He still got it in him imo :ehh:

Just keep it tight...no fillers and have some stellar production. Ohhh...and keep the guest features to a minimum.
That's literally not possible with Euro Hov.

Dude can rhyme like he did on Jay Elec's "we made it" all the time but he thinks people want the "On To The Next One" Jay

besides his albums are 92.3% wack now

What holds hip hop back is the fact that if you are an older cat, you are looked as being corny.

Instead of actually appreciating the art, they hate because of the age.

Some of the greatest music in all of history came from people that were 30+ years old. (Which in hip hop years is basically washed up)

i mean i wouldn't want him to go out on an album that only had two weeks worth of replay value but if i'm honest, i wouldn't care at this point if he never put another album out.

if he is going to put another album out it needs to be 10 joints.
reflective and moving forward..problem is he already done it in '03

no real features outside of Beyonce (she'd be on there whether we like it or not), maybe Nas & Ye.
get Ye to give him something like he did A$AP Rocky, Just Blaze, Timbo, Neptunes, Sean C & LV and Ski to put the cherry on top.

and since someone brought him up, i'd be happy if enough if Life Is Good was Nas last album too.
it wasn't a classic or perfect by any means but those last 3 joints (not including the bonus joints) are a wonderful little finish Stay, Cherry Wine, Be Baby.

what was the publicity stunt for lig :comeon:

some cynics could say the picture of him with his ex-wifes dress on the front as the cover art.

it's a cop out cuz they can't out rap these nikkas. I feel like at some point cats were like fucc it, I can't rap better so let's change the sound beyond recognition. that's why we are where we are. nikkas can't rap. the ones that can revere hov n nikkas like him. the fans that appreciate the art are outnumbered cuz.. hip hop is no country for old men... even if the old men are better at the job.

couple that with the fact hip hop is a sport. it's not like everything else. you are what you kill be it other rappers or classic verses. these nikkas stopped competing. if jay would've killed Wayne shyt would be different. if jay would just kill drake it would be different. he needs to prove his worth again.

if you a fan you don't understand you have to earn then maintain respect amongst fans and peers. and it's easier to get then keep. that's why I'm harsh on the early 80s dudes. you gotta keep up and if jay 47 and you're 50 but can't keep up it's only right you're judged by today's standard not the standards of 30 years ago.

jay gotta drop another one to show he still got it. the allure of jay starts in the booth not the board room.
