I feel the same way, but a lot of people feel differently.

No they don'tbecause this isn't the first time MJ hasn't spoken up about something but he still idolized. You still get the MJ vs. Lebron/Kobe specials on Sportscenter. He still sells you Hanes underwar and people line of for j's. He didn't say anything about Travon either...

think about what popped off during the jordan era that he was easily aware off but never touched on:
-Challenger explosion (a brother was on board)
-LA riots
-Crown Heights riots
-East coast/West coast bullshyt
-Unfair labor practices at Nike factories (even Steve Jobs got BBQ'd for what apple suppliers were doing in China)
-Insane murder rates in minority cities / black on black violence
-Black males dealing with the justice system/prison system/law enforcement

Again michael jordan is not a civil rights activist. Thats a partial reason why our race is so down. Outside of kids limiting themselves to baller/rapper/singer. We always waiting for someone else to speak up on issues. Well sorry the days of Malcom & Martin are over.

Hell even the days of gov planted reps ala jesse & Al are over. If we dont start making our own voices known its a wrap.

Damn shame the gays have somehow managed to leapfrog us. HOW....by not waiting on one person to speak for them. Altho I will say it is a little deeper.(the connects/agenda and all)
