Thats only because the bar was set higher for Sony. PS2 was the most succesful console of alltime. And The ps1 was second I believe

Then the PS3 came out and sony LOST more than they earned off of both the PS1 & 2 combined (Tru story)

The XB OG was never created to make money, was impossible to make money since it was just PC parts

XB1 is the second fastest selling console of all time at its current pace (which for some reason gets clowned by sony fans)

Sony and bar setting is just stuff you are talking about, not reality bruh. Sony was just happy to be profitable
They knew they would compete, didn't expect to be leading like they are
And by the looks of thinks.. or the lack of things (games) I'm sure sony is aware that they gotta make something happen because Microsoft has games out the wazoo

And with all the things the XB1 can do, and the way it can interact with the cloud
Is DX12 compatible which means the majority of games made will be created FOR THAT OS
XB1 should easily win this gen to be honest with you, no fanboy here. Easily win once its all said and done

I think they could be if they wanted to, but I don't believe they really want to anymore. It was great for their brand PR-wise, but not financially a homerun. I think XBOX as a whole was never about making money, it was pure marketing because from that stand point, XBOX has significantly helped M$'s brand the past 13yrs. Now, the XBOX brand can start to suffer from a public relations angle which would not be worth the investment if it doesn't have a hugely positive reflection of M$. Then they'd just be throwing away money on another XBOX on TOP of having a negative effect on marketing and public relations.

THIS. Regardless of how much we like or dislike xbox, it's a minor division in the microsoft corporation. Perception is everything and if investors start to see xbox negatively effecting the company's image they will close or sell xbox.

Xbox one is the SECOND highest selling launch console ever... And still is doing better than most others. Everyone I know has one, and hardly anyone else even has a PS4 despite it's "numbers"



All these "sales" but nothing to do with it or play in the recent future. nikkas was gassed about like 3 games that are coming out NEXT YEAR that are exclusives... And one of them was uncharted. Same old uncharted...


Sony eating off it's price (which the kinect itself is worth more that $100 to me) and this graphics hype.

If I seriously don't see a big improvement in graphics I'm not keeping it without any real exclusives to play... That aren't Indies

The xbox one sales were completely front loaded. Since its first two months on sale the sales have plummeted. Its fallen behind both ps2 and wii's sales pace. So yall can stop perpetuating that bold faced lie already.
