monique claimed in her Sway in the Morning interview that the lead actors of "Almost Christmas" got paid less than 1 million dollars combined to appear in that movie. she said that she only agreed to do the movie b/c Will Packer said if she did this for him....he would sign her to a 3 picture deal & a TV show. none of which panned out.
now Jawn Murray went on his weekly FB live program last night and read an email from Will Packer that was sent to Monique's husband

- Will said that his team & Universal Pictures went out of their way and bent over backwards to accommodate Monique.
- says a talent like hers deserves to have better representation
- he was warned by numerous people in the industry to steer clear of Monique mainly b/c of the negative experiences with her husband
- he fought tooth & nail to cast Monique in the movie b/c he wasnt gonna allow the negative talk from denying her this opportunity
- says that Sidney came back repeatedly to "swindle" more money from Universal & production
- Sidney & Monique had an issue with white ppl being included in the film crew despite the majority of the department heads & crew being black
- Will Packer says they treated the crew horribly & recalled when he told the 2 of them that he was the "H.N.I.C." on this set. they all laughed at that remark until later on...Monique & Sidney tried to use that comment against him when they filed a complaint & tried to get the production to give up more money.
