The label isn't cutting a check for that stuff right now. He posted Tekashi the other day challenging rappers to a fight and got flamed badly. Reading the room is a skill many don't have.

Nah, a lot of people who lost family and friends during these crazy times, are not going backwards mentally.

At this point, we need an ENTIRELY new genre of music.

I LOVE Hip Hop, I really do. But I’m about ready for Black folks to throw a lot of it to the bushes because it’s too compromised and too drugs- and materialistic/image-obsessed. I’m so serious too.

If a Black cultural (and hopefully economical/political/spiritual/familial) renaissance comes out of all what’s currently going on, I sincerely hope it’ll include at least two new and completely unique genres of music with a more in-depth subject matter. Because at this point in time, Hip Hop just ain’t it anymore as far as being a powerful vehicle for Black folks y’all :francis:
