^ the most overreated diss record...was cool to listen to on first listen but who in their right mind wants to listen to someone as poor on the mic as The Game straight rapping for around 15 minutes more than once ?

Cole ? not even the Shook Ones beat couldn't make him interesting...even for 2 minutes.

Gotta be smoking something strongAF to make you think anyone could out do Mobb Deep on this beat, let alone Cole. Obviously the beat is an all-time great, but that gritty rawness in Hav & Ps vocals are second to none on it also........anyone is just fighting a losing battle if you try to outdo the original classic.

because he didn't, understand context my nikka. Trying to stand a verse up from 94-95 against a verse from now is like standing a film up from 90's to now. Somethings are classic not because they would be the best verses now, but because they are a snapshot of the time. I don't know of many artists or songs that SOUND like 90's New York like Mobb does. You looking at this shyt like checkers, and its chess. nikkas need to stop acting like old songs were made yesterday. You can watch Pulp Fiction today and see that it's nothing near Kill Bill in the technical stuff, but the dialogue, cinematography ect still make it one of the best films of our time.

That's what you gotta do, instead of listening to old shyt like its new shyt like a simple nikka, understand the time it was made in and you will have a better understanding and wont say stupid shyt like this entire topic. Prodigy snapped on this beat, made on of the most recognizable verses of ALL TIME, on one of the best rap songs of ALL TIME, WITHOUT the millions of dollars of production values nikkas have now.

:snoop: stop talking about music like you know anything about it.
