FL Studio has a rep it doesn't deserve because its popularity means all the newbs who don't know what they're doing use it. But it's a very capable and powerful DAW

As with anything, as long as you have a high quality mic, all you gotta do is just record it through FL and boom.

In terms of capability FL Studio ad Pro Tools are damn near equal but FL's work flow is tailored towards beatmaking and Pro Tools is tailored towards engineering. But a good producer can make it work. Pro Tools is only "Industry standard" cuz it was first
