So his latest oscar bait movie "collateral beauty" only took $7m at the box office :mjlol:

Look breh, you're not an Oscar type actor like Denzel. You're never gonna win a best male actor for some incredible acting and nobody wants to see you "acting" in some schmaltzy oscar bait movie so just go back to your "enemy of the state" "men in black" "bad boys" "I robot" days and do what you're good at; kicking ass, being funny and making hundreds of millions.

Why is he so desperate to win an Oscar anyway? Dude even boycotted last year's because his shyt bait movie wasn't nominated. :what:

I really miss the old Will Smith :mjcry:

Edit: yes I know he made Suicide squad, but you get my point.

In the Silver Lining
The Great Wall 2.

Plot:
An East African goes to China to trade goods for his chief. Ends up fighting 7 foot reptiles. :troll:

He needs to get on the African Empire movie wave. We've had the slave movie wave, still need a well produced Toussaint movie and a remake of Zumbi of Palmares for the 21st century. But I think it's perfect timing to give ancient African Kingdoms some shine, and there are some AAs that could step in these roles. We know a Mansa Musa movie is in development stages, but there are plenty other kingdoms that stories need to be told.

He should add that to his movie-ography.

Thought the movie was decent (my mom wanted to see it :yeshrug: )

Some huge plot holes, and was obvious what was going on

With that being said, he got out acted in almost every scene he was in with actual dialoge :mjcry: it might be really over :mjcry:

The hispanic dude thats in Ant Man pretty much stole the movie. Id be surprised if he dont get oscar nomination for supporting actor

Collateral Beauty is quite possibly the stupidest movie he's ever been involved in.

I don't want to spoil the "twist" for those who haven't seen it... but when you see the "twist" (it happens very early) you will have this exact reaction... "That makes no damn sense :dahell:"

Its the ultimate "Smart Dumb" movie that tries to be deep but is actually incredibly... incredibly stupid with its premise.

It's right up there with seven pounds.

Seven punds at least had a coherent plot (although messy, stll coherent).

I mean I don't want to spoil Collateral beauty for those who haven't watched it, but just ask yourself this question... Didn't his "friends" go about doing that "thing" in the most needlessly convoluted, ex-machina-ish way? I can think of a thousand easier ways for them to accomplish what they were trying to do. I mean shyt they coulda have just asked him :dahell:

Will Smith shouldn't be playing these type of roles because I personally can't take him seriously in it... just not convincing for me

It's like seeing Sylvester Stallone or Steven Segal playing a serious emotional teacher who lost his kid and trying to cope...
