Will Smith needs to go back to making Action movies.

Will Smith shouldn't be playing these type of roles because I personally can't take him seriously in it... just not convincing for me

It's like seeing Sylvester Stallone or Steven Segal playing a serious emotional teacher who lost his kid and trying to cope...

Pretty much. I admire him for being brave and trying something different but it's pretty obvious he's not good at it and no one is ever gonna take him seriously as some oscar type actor so just go back to what you're good at Will.

I mean I don't want to spoil Collateral beauty for those who haven't watched it, but just ask yourself this question... Didn't his "friends" go about doing that "thing" in the most needlessly convoluted, ex-machina-ish way? I can think of a thousand easier ways for them to accomplish what they were trying to do. I mean shyt they coulda have just asked him

Breh..exactly what I thought. I almost walked out to sneak into Assassin's creed about half way though. There's certain parts of the movie that frustrated the hell out of me...especially the dominos.

I don't know if his acting style translates well anymore. Will playing will in a variety of settings gets boring. I've never really been a fan except for fresh prince because I picked up on this even as a kid. TBH I think his career picked up years ago because he was seen as a wholesome black guy and could fit all the roles Hollywood felt comfortable with (for awhile when you thought of black men in Hollywood you only thought of him and Denzel). He did open the door for classically trained and wider ranged black actors but I still prefer those actors to him. Maybe in 2016 people are just ready for better actors.
