Will is coming off a bit foolish. He's made it so big in Hoellywood that he's not even talking from a black hollywood perspective. He's talking from a "I made it into white hollywood so I don't feel the effects" perspective.

Our movies always get rated lower by critics because they never have and never will understand our culture.

I don't care. I was simply pointing out an obvious barrier in hollywood. A lot of black movies should probably be higher in statue than they are but because they only relate to black folks, they don't break that glass ceiling. On the other hand successful white movies are put on this royalty pedestal above everything. Then you have those who don't get an acting role because they are black. So Will can't sit here and give us that garbage. Especially after he just said we need to fix the black community.

You explain it wrong. You mean majority of blacks give cacs credit when it's due but we get slighted. We don't care for acceptance but give credit when it is due.

Man, please point me in the direction of a good black movie. I haven't seen one since the 90's. And if "Sema" is anything like "The Butler" it don't deserve any praise. "The Butler" was pure garbage,

when we say black we're talking about americans, the term black wasn't even used until America

black americans are black because we don't have a nationality to call ourselves so we're just black

but in reality your black too, but when say black as regards to film its understood as black americans
