In hindsight, he is correct but he doesn't have inside track of how prejudice and racism negatively affects black people's livelihood.

Yeah man...this is a iffy statement cuz I get where he is coming from 
and just knowing Will Smith's take on life in general, I agree with him...despite not being rich and famous like Will, I have a lot of the same beliefs as the brotha...but u can't really say racism is rare in America...many black people are intentionally being put through BS on a consistent basis...maybe not Will or me or someone else in this thread...but there are many black people who deal with certain things that make life very difficult and they just don't have the mental fortitude to rise above it....no longer worrying about money can get you to this type of life perspective....other people who worry about where their next meal will come from, can't see it this way
