Jada Pinkett just happened to be connected to two of who are probably the top 5 most famous and successful black men EVER to live. We can’t really apply “regular nikka” rules to the situation. Not to say that Pac or Will are some Gods, but with the level of once in a lifetime success that those two attained you can’t say shyt like Jada “settled” for Will. Will is the most financially successful black actor of ALL TIME, thats not some “settle” shyt. Will and Pac feeling some type of way about Jada is two legit alpha dogs sizing one another up. One was the protective brother and one was the skeptical boyfriend. With time and maturity i’m sure both of them actually would have come to like one another and perhaps get along. Pac was TWENTY FIVE when he died. He never got the chance to really be a Man. Jada was young and, by her own admission, coming out of her thot phase. Will, who had been a star since he was 17, was humbled by his IRS issues and experiencing a resurgence with Fresh Prince and was about to take cinema by storm. All three of them were dealing with heavy ADULT shyt at an early age. So Will’s feelings of jealousy can be understood given the situation.
No wonder Will hates this nikka. She said it was a once in a lifetime type of relationship.
There’s things she could only talk about with Pac. Will didn’t know her back then. That’s kinda a trip when you think about it. That they was walking them halls in high school together being kids not knowing that seven years later they’d be in Hollywood making millions. She probably assumed Pac would always be there to share their experiences together and him dying felt like losing someone who knew her from way back in the day who was the only person that made it to the level she was on in life. Her rich Hollywood friends will never know the Jada from Baltimore and her poor friends from back home aren’t on her level anymore. Pac was both
