She was definitely one of the best-looking Black women of the '90s and early 00s; she wasn't “crazy” or anything like that. She was “mouthy” and had a “rawness” to her, among other things that fit her personality and made her very likable to many because she gave off an authentic aura.

I think y'all are overly hyping how much of a high-demand “ladies' man” Will Smith was in reality. Compared to other men of the '90s, he wasn't all that, and by '90s standards, as a man, he was soft. Shyt, Martin Lawrence was manlier than him.

Angela Bassett wouldn't even date Will Smith or someone of his ilk simply because, mentally speaking, she's “too grown” for him; she's the type of woman who'd demand a man who's very manly and mature in nature, hence why her and Courtney B. Vance are the perfect fit, because he's grown in his demeanor.

Age aside, unfortunately, for most women of the '90s, Will was just too goofy and childlike in his demeanor, and playing himself in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air somewhat contributed to the curse of being portrayed in real life as a soft, giggly, and immature goofball, which stunted his appeal to women.
