He didnt want to play D'jango because it was too violent but doesnt Mind playing a murderous kingpin

He's actually played a villain role as Lucifer aka Devil for small part in Winter's Tale film which is fukking terrible. Will was fukking horrible at it.....like you can't take him serious


I'm willing to bet that Cuba played better Nicky in America's Gangster than Will play as Nicky....

Man Cuba Gooding jr played a good nicky barnes in American Gangster. Felt that should have when some where at that time.

He's gotta study Nicky from mannerisms to speech patterns. I honestly think he's better in serious roles. Leave all the action/sci fi shyt for The Rock.

Remember a lot of people doubted him for Ali

That movie has no memories moments at all. Will Smith choose a white man over Spike Lee brehs. I don't remmy any great scenes in Ali. When I heard Will plays Ali so I thought it was perfect for him until the film came out.. It likes something is missing about that film but you can't figure it out.

From what I heard. The problem is that Will likes to control over the director. One of the reason why he choose a white director over Spike Lee to do Ali. Another reason why Will Smith wants QuentinTarantino to change his script into a romantic movie.

For those of you who don’t think Will has the acting chops to pull this off watch Six Degrees Of Separation. YES there are some non Harlem portions of the flick but nothing too crazy and Will
Absolutely nailed it

also he was great in Ali and very good (acting wise) in portions of Enemy Of The State and I Am Legend.


Will CAN do it its just about stepping out of his comfort zone and with him experiencing a career renaissance of sorts lately I think he’s finally ready take on more challenging role

i’m here for it. If its on the level of American Gangster we could have a real gem with this one
