Will got hits I think people forget about but he’d be hard pressed to come up with 20 songs that could outshine Uncle L…

Will has always been a hell of a performer though, if he had Jazzy Jeff on the 1’s and 2’s he could match LL’s stage presence
LL may have the greatest stage presence in the history of rap though. He’s at least in that discussion with Busta, KRS, and a couple others.

I can't think of a good match up for LL. I was thinking Busta, but LL would kill him with just the females in the crowd alone. LL been relevant since the mid 80's, ladies love him, white people love him, and he has tons of hard shyt for dudes. I think he's unbeatable :wow:

Will Smith can really rap though, people act like he wasn't the biggest rapper in the world at 17 years old, the second Fresh Prince album went 3 times platinum something LL has never done his entire career and that album came out in LL's prime

Will only has one dope album "parents just" And much of that was because of Jeff. Without his acting career Will would be a blip.

Breh just stop lol. Nobody is saying Will isn’t a great performer. But LL is legitimately in the GOAT discussion. It’s just different.

That remains to be see, lets see the match up, they the same type of rapper, they were both teenager superstars, it makes sense, LL's prime and Will Smith's prime were at the same time nearly LL came out two years before him, it's good match up

Will Smith old music matches up with LL's old music, LL's late 90s and early 2000s stuff is just as wack as Will Smith

These things aren't really head to head battles like we turn them into, unless the artists themselves try to turn it into that to hype it up, they're really just celebrations of the artists' catalogs for nostalgic purposes.

In a perfect Verzuz matchup everybody wins and everybody looks good (Short and 40. Red and Meth. Rae and Ghost. Gladys and Patti. Etc...). Even if L shyt does rock more, Will has enough fire in the clip to shine too, he don't even really need to get into his 8-9x platinum "Will Smith" bag, just stay in the Prince and Jazzy zone.
