He had the good image before Jada emasculated him in public and he allowed her to degrade him since he didn’t get a divorce

Dude took the L of a lifetime with her disrespecting him like that

What man with any self respect would allow himself to still be joined with her legally in marriage?

Then he slaps Chris Rock for his (Will’s) own faults

Will looks sad, stressed and depressed ever since Jada and the entanglement Red table episode and since he slapped Chris Rock

Will wouldn’t even being doing this new album and a Drink Champs episode if all of the entanglement and Chris Rock slap never happened

He ain’t got nothing else to do now but lean forward and try to rebrand as best he can

I have no dog in this fight but he was divorced from Jada for 7 years by that time. They just kept it secret.

That Jada situation definitely f*cked dude up.

He's still one of Hollywood's biggest actors, and studios are still throwing those high-paying roles at him, but he seems like he wants to tell his story his way and not be defined by other people's view of him. He speaks about it in his book. He's been around for 40 years. Him slapping the sh*t out of Chris Rock isn't going to change his legacy for his real fans. As it shouldn't.

SCUST, Will Smith is way too big of a star with a good image to be mingling with Drink Champs :scusthov:

Tacky interview style with constant interruptions. Messy questions.

Just constant unprofessionalism being condoned because:
“I’m just giving flowers”

Woulda never greenlighted this shyt if I was in his team.
LL cool J went on drink champs. Not a 1 for 1 but both have are apart of hip hop history

Yup, you can see it all over his face

He looks depressed, even with his poker face on

True, he’s still “Will Smith” the star but you can tell all of humiliation has definitely taken a toll on his spirit because dude looks like he hasn’t a good nights rest since the whole Jada entanglement situation

Yup, this new album is his way of trying to to rebrand and behold the power of his story and not let the media or people narrate it

The slap was a moment of weakness however he’s only human and he let his emotions get the best of him and unfortunately it was in public

:mjlol:I forgot he even did that.

I swear people are so goofy about this celebrity shyt.

On what planet do these types live on, where a dude slapping the shyt out a guy for cracking on his wife (that he'd been trying to fukk for well over a decade at that) , is something we all supposed to show fake concern and nuance for

that shyt told me a lot about how people move, and it's really pathetic.

Word. Every time I see pics of dude, he looks like his soul has been snatched from him.

He hasn't been the same since that happened. I didn't even bother to listen to the new album because I didn't want it to depress me, lol.

Damn, it's been 5 years already?!?

Time flying like a MF! Back then, I didn't like that he even went on there and did the show. If people were gossiping and saying whatever, let them. Don’t even get involved with making this a whole thing publicly. Social media will take that and make it even crazier. That's on Jada though. Will might've had some side h*es too, but we never hear about them, lol. You keep that kinda sh*t low.

I know right? That time has flown by like crazy

Yeah I knew when he went on there, that was his first mistake and it seemed so out of character for his brand to even entertain that shenanigans

Exactly. Him having a public conversation with her about their business that she’s been airing out was something he should’ve never engaged in at all

He’s “Will Smith”, why on earth would he even need to be on there? Dude should be playing golf or reading a script for a new movie he’s interested or counting his bread. Not engaging on some bootleg talk show about his life outside of acting
