they havent ran rap for atleast 3 years bro
I don't know if they are running any game, it's pretty spread out across the country and it's been that way for a while.
But if you want to include like 150 million people and compare them to 3 other cities individually (La, Ny and Chicago) and every else not existing then yea, they are dominating. And it's not that weird, that's like asking why Mexico has a higher gdp than Switzerland. If we compare East and South, that's a pretty solid battle and has been.
I think it will keep on like it is, I don't see a reason to why it would change. Why would a region with like half the black population, mad different states stretching all the way from just outside of cali to just under ny, just stop rapping?
