Will Spider Man 2 spoil Avengers 4 :dahell:

It comes out 2 months after Avengers 4, which means they will be dropping trailers months before Avengers 4 comes out. Since Spiderman 2 happens after the events of Avengers 4... how can they not spoil some of it

Marvel has already been secretive when it comes to the title of Avengers 4 as they don't want to give away nothing, but now they're saying, they don't car what Sony does.

We'll get the IW4 trailer around November, then we'll get a teaser of Spiderman 2 sometime shortly afterwards, following with a a full trailer during the Superbowl (or around that).

I read/watched articles that say Marvel doesn't care what Sony does. The marketing adjustment is really on Sony since their movie comes out after Infinity War.

It just seems like they didn't think this all the way through.

I think Marvel and their writers got so caught up in Infinity War that they didn't stop and think about the aftermath.

First they changed the concept of having a Part 1 and 2, to it now being two totally different movies. Which is cool, shoot them back to back, then release them only a year apart. Doesn't make sense.

Marvel obviously care more about the OG Avengers, and don't seem to have a full strategy on how to replace them.


At this point, I almost home the Fox deal doesn't go through, just so characters like Black Panther and Dr. Strange can have their trilogies without having to wait 5 to 7 years for a sequel.

Vaguely promote a different Spider Man suit (like Miles') without ever showing Peter's face in pre A4 trailers. Which could also serve to mislead casual audiences.

Have Peter's official "reveal/return" trailer play after A4 credits.

Gorilla market for 2 months until Spider 2 drops.
