I'm going to make this short. We have a lot of issues in our community. Besides corrupt cacs we also have people of our own skin that will either sell us out for a dollar or harm their own. I get poverty, but sh-t is getting WORSE for us. We don't have a huge AA type of lobby like Jews, Mexicans, or Cubans (politically).

The question is, do you think Blacks/AA's will rise up and take charge in our lifetime? I'm not talking individually, but as a collective group.

Also, we have a gender war in our community. Our sistas were lied to by feminist White women. That sh-t ain't for you.

No troll btw. I was watching some classic documentaries about the civil rights and black power movement. What would it take to bring the black man back in the home? Also, what would it take for the black woman to respect and honor the black man? I wonder about this a lot.

To answer your question OP, it's gonna take generations to fix this community...and that's if we start now.

I feel that besides the "woke" people the majority of us are fighting among ourselves.
I feel like during the 60s, 70s, and 90s somewhat we were on the path to prosperity, but we always got sidetracked. Face it, we always wanted whites to accept us. When we should have said screw them and do our own thing.
