I know. If you already knew the answer then why ask? Sounds like you just started feeling yourself and decided to make a bullshyt thread for daps. Congragulations
I didn't make this thread for daps. I made it because somebody doesn't think it's reasonable to use their past playoff performances as a projection for what they're going to do this season (specifically CP/BG as a duo). This thread was simply for him to see that's painfully obvious that the majority of this board holds the same position as I do.

The clippers are desperately in need of a 2-way small forward that can give them 18-5-5 with decent defense for when they meet certain teams...namely GSW

Until that changes I think their is a limit on their ceiling

This type of player would literally cost $20+ million per year. Seems like a pipe dream.

15-5-5 perhaps?

They dont need astronomical production...they just need someone who can hit a couple threes, play some defense and at least not get totally dominated by opposing SF's

I'd say the bigger issue is that Doc doesn't seem to understand the draft or how to find good players in it.

He joins the team two days before the draft decides to take Reggie Bullock over Rudy Gobert, Andre Roberson, Allan Crabbe and Mike Muscala. Yikes.
2014: CJ Wilcox over Nikola Jokic, Jordan Clarkson, Dwight Powell
2015: No picks (traded for Doc)
2016: Not gonna get into these picks, but it's interesting he takes Brice Johnson, yet Malcolm Brogdon, Isaiah Whitehead and Patrick McCaw are all playing more minutes than a 4 year starter from Carolina. If he was going to be a developmental pick, might as well have drafted Skal.

Basically, because of the cap, the Clippers have been locked into their roster, but imagine for a moment, they had drafted Gobert, they could have moved DeAndre for a wing a long time ago and they would be set, because Gobert can actually make free throws. Even Jokic would have had trade value. We all know that CP3 and Blake are taking their five year, super max extensions and then it will be a slow, steady decline to the bottom.

Some people think the Earth is flat. Some people think Jesus talks to them in their sleep. Some people think Kobe is the GOAT. You better hope you stay right because he's going to be talking a lot of shyt if you're wrong and I'm going to be right there with him.

Only way they even make the conference finals despite having no 3 guard and Blake refuses to play down low, is for Chris Paul to average 25 shot attempts a game instead of dribbling and taking shots when he feel like it

I kinda agree with this

Chris Paul can not be an orchestrator type player....He needs to be a scorer...mid 20's to 30 point games period

They are the 2nd best team in the west. Spurs are finished. Too old. Rockets arent serious get real. Don't care how they run up the score. They are a Antoni team and still don't play a lick of defense. Plus half their squad stay injured.
