In no universe can Crowder or Cam Johnson check Giannis or AD
I dont believe any 1-3 is checking Giannis any day of the week. A 4-5 theoretically have the size to. So if you have the size, you can at least get physical inside.
The best defensive 4-5s out there are gonna be overwhelmed in any series with Giannis as well, even the scheme the Raptors implemented that got a ton of praise only worked because Bledsoe had a WOAT series shooting.

There's really nothing you can do but pray his teammates are cold like Khris & Jrue were in game 1/2.
Suns got very lucky this year.
I think they'll be back tho, AD is always gimpy. I wouldn't count on him being healthy in the playoffs next year. Kawhi's missing the entire season next year if we are honest, same with Murray.
If CP3s game doesn't fall off a cliff they should be a good bet to come out the West.

You don't need to clamp Giannis, just make it hard for him
I think a guy like John Collins could be molded to become a Giannis container, with added strength and a better motor

By the time MJ retired, the league started to groom 6'5 to 6'7 perimeter defenders
Now the league needs to groom 6'8 to 6'10 defenders who can check the KD's, Tatum's, Zion's, AD's and Greek's of the world

The league realized they needed to groom wing defenders...by the time Kobe blossomed, there was Bruce Bowen, Doug Christie, Eric Snow, Raja Bell, Ruben Patterson, etc...
