Ehhh Bad Boy 3 would have been a hit if not for the shutdown. Made $400 and that’s not even counting overseas bread where Smith is still viewed as a star.

I mean, this is a great point. You’re right. Rocky’s name pretty much will allow him to make money with pretty much anything he wants. He could always get paid for legacy events with wrestling. He could definitely have gyms all over the world. Anything to do with fitness he could make a killing in. He could get in that production bag. Plus he’s already made stupid money so it’s not as though he’s ever gonna “need” money.

So I should just revise my answer. Only way Rock focuses on “serious acting” roles is if he just decides he wants to challenge himself in that way.
