By that logic, the PS4 Pro serves absolutely no purpose then.
It pretty much does. I don't know one person in my circle that has a Pro and I know atleast 10 people that have a ps4 and its either the slim or the OG.

You have to be trolling at this point.ps3 started at $500.
The most talked about revelation, of course, was the launch day (November 17, 2006) and the fact that there are two different systems available for purchase (a $500 model with a 20GB HDD and a $600 model with a 60GB HDD).

You have to be trolling at this point.
No way are you going from thread to thread spitting lies with a straight face.
Oh my bad.It pretty much does. I don't know one person in my circle that has a Pro and I know atleast 10 people that have a ps4 and its either the slim or the OG.
"there are two different systems available for purchase a $500 model with a 20GB HDD and a $600 model with a 60GB HDD"
did you even read what you posted?
The Xbox X seems to be selling pretty well even outselling the Switch, and the install base is less then a 2 million difference in the U.S. between PS4 and Xbone![]()
$500 is a very solid price point.
It's a hell of a lot better than arrogant Sony's $600 for the PS3 when it launched.
IMO for the hardware, it HAS to be more expensive than the PS4. You can't have the strongest console in existence priced at the same level as consoles with significantly weaker hardware.
Oh so you weren't trolling and now you're being pedantic while completely missing the point of the response to begin with.
Yeesh your ignorance is impressive.
He knocked the price point as if $500 is something unheard of. That was the point of the response including the price of the PS3 being $500/$600.
We talking the PS4, not PS3.![]()
And 500$ made it niche from the jump.
shyt, The main xbot cheerleaders don't even own an X1X.![]()

Even at $500 my point still stands.
How is $500 laughable when Sony stans happily paid $600?
PS3 was a completely new gen thoHe knocked the price point as if $500 is something unheard of. That was the point of the response including the price of the PS3 being $500/$600.

Then you agree with my initial response which was essentially that $500 is not a bad price for the XB1X.Sony semi got away with it. Xbox can't. That thing is not gonna close a gap whatsoever. It's ova.
For what it's worth, I don't think 500 for what you get is bad. Problem is the general masses will just cop a XB1S or PS4 at 200.
Same way they did the PS4 pro which is being outsold anywhere from 5:1 to 9:1 around the world. It's a niche machine and so is the X1X.
That's fine, but I'm responding to the price point being criticized.PS3 was a completely new gen tho
because you're wrong. ps3 flopped hard at that price. wasn't no sony stans, they were still Xbox stans. He knocked the price point as if $500 is something unheard of. That was the point of the response including the price of the PS3 being $500/$600.
