In terms of superstar ability and hype
In '02 and '03, the whole world was on his nuts, he was the first to get HS games televised. :mindblown:

Obviously the college rule hurts any shot of another LeBron happening, . However, assuming kids can go straight to the NBA out of HS, can you see another 16 y/o being touted as the "Chosen One" in the next 30 years.

As long as they are allowed to break every rule of basketball, push off, carry, etc. Allow him to juice at the age of 16 & have nba trainers. Oh, and have refs call all type of bullsheet calls to win games :yeshrug: What separated LeBron out of hs from a Gerald green? Court vision? :dead: bring on the bron stans :umad:

They use to say that no one would be good enough to be compared to Jordan...then Kobe came in the league.

Then they use to say that Kobe may be the greatest we will ever see...then LeBron was being talked about while he was in highschool.

So, yes, there will be another one and it might not even take long for us to witness it.

Yes, there will be.
Think about it this way, whether a prospect spends one year playing college or all 4 years, he can become the next Lebron James. Michael Jordan spent three years at UNC.
Some people are naturally gifted and can excel at a young age, like Wayne Gretzky, LeBron James, and Freddy Adu who could play against and with professional adults as a teen.
Others take more time but their talents are groomed so that they become superstars. How many elite NBA players, past and present, spent more than one year in Div I basketball?

of course.

The last one to get that amount of hype before Lebron was Felipe Lopez.

The world didnt start when you started to recognize it.
