There are so many issues with this but the most simple problem: If time travel was ever possible in any point in history (future) then we would have always had it. People from a million years in the future would travel back to now and every point in the past and time travel would be like subway trains through every point in history. Which is not the case.
Let's think about changing history constantly. Hitler loses. Now we change it so he wins. Now the guy who makes Hitler win is killed as a baby. Now the guy who kills that baby is killed as a baby. On and on. How would time ever progress with every event being undone over and over? Simple. Eventually the time machine would be undone and time would proceed.. until the next time machine was invented.. at which point time would continue to skip until that time machine was undone and so on. The only timeline that could proceed from A to Z would be one with no time machines. Therefore, even if one were invented it would necessarily be undone by nigh infinite time skips at the invention of each one.
Last argument against: particles are connected to themselves in time. One electron is the same as it was from the Big Bang. If you shift it in time then it shifts in every past and future moment. Shifting this particle 1 minute would shift it in every timeframe 1 minute. Your body is made of all different particles than it was 10 years ago. So basically your past self would be torn in half as these particles shift and those do not.
