He's listed as 6'2" which means he's probably 5'11"/6' which is the same height as Cena and Punk.

It's about how Vince views him. He runs the main roster.
Vince can be a hater when it comes to wrestlers that's all made a name for themselves prior to being a wwe employee.

Presentation..it's all about presentation. If they present him properly and do right by his current buzz by doing some meaningful programs with him, he'll be fine. I think that's more of the issue and not whether or not the American fans accept him.
Hes got the charisma and athleticism; Im just hoping that those two characteristics can attract a demographic that isn't familiar with him.
I feel for him. But if they turned on someone as over as Daniel Bryan to push an agenda for a ready made WWE act that was protected for 3 years? Then the new guys stand no chance. They are gonna get slick promo burials from Stephanie and Cripple H..that WILL happen. When have they pushed a ethnic act of worth? They couldn't get Lashley right. Turned on Benjamin when he was outperforming the ENTIRE roster leading to and after WM 21. Made Tajiri a big joke. Gave a glass ceiling to Hakushi despite him getting over and cheered in the Bret Hart match. Eddie Guerrero was so damn over that he had to get a spot.
People in here like to make fun of Daniel Bryan and all of that but if they turned on him when he's a walking DOLLAR sign? Then you know fukkING DAMN WELL that these new guys might get a 6 month push at best before Reigns kills them in under 7 minutes or Cena kicks out of all of their finishers and beats them clean as fukk while trying to absorb their popularity.

As much as we worry about Vince fukking him up, he'll be fine.Hopefully Vince doesn't fukk around and turn him into TAKAmura. No disrespect to TAKA, but, you know.
Countless Japanese wrestlers have been insulted by WWE over the decades, but 9 times out of 10 they went back to bigger paydays. Most in the know are pretty much banking on WWE misusing him and waiting for his return.
Taka is the opposite of an insult, once you know what he's been up to in Japan.
Dude is still in the spotlight with Suzukigun, founded promotions and makes paper, and the move he created caught on like wildfire (Michinoku Driver).

Nope. He and Kenta will probably be thrown together eventually to try and make something happen on the main roster.

Personally, I'd kinda like to see him come in as the polar opposite to Brock though. Brock spends his spare time, hunting. Nakamura spends his designing Christmas items for department stores.
Brock and Shinsuke have history too
Storyline-wise - all it would take is Brock to tell Paul "Sign him, he's a bad motherfukker - and I know bad motherfukkers..."
I'd have Paul play the straight man to him as well.

They need to set Nakamura up as Bryan's rival. like Eddie or Brock was for Angle. Make him a Heyman guy and in some ways more dangerous than Brock himself. Or better yet a Heyman staple.
