Curry might be nice and not take the entire 207
:mjlol:
He's been underpaid for years. Highly doubt he or Durant settle for anything less than the max. Iggy and Livingston almost certainly won't be back, wouldn't be smart to commit the dollars and years necessary to resign them anyway even if they could.:yeshrug:

KD is eligible for the the max at the highest service slot, 10 years, so he will get 35% of the cap if he takes a max

Steph falls under the new cba rules so he well get 35% of the cap if he takes the max

So that is 70% of the cap space tied up into two players

Livingston and Iggy would have to play for damn near free to come back to this team...

Financially either the warriors have to go way over the cap and then start to worry about the repeater tax...or they are going to fill out their 5 / 15 roster spots with league minimum contracts...or they are going to have to trade draymond and/or klay to free up cap room to build a deeper team

But this is all avoided if KD and Steph just don't take the max...

Warriors might as well... I remember Dan Gilbert bytch ass at the forefront of the last CBA cause he was made Bron left and formed a super team.. Hustled all the owners to sign off on it only now to say fukk the owners and made his super team when he got word Bron was going back
