Kobe is arguable a better scorer and shooter than Jordan.
Defender as well.

Jordan made wiser decisions with the basketball, but that doesn't make him a better individual player than Bryant

For a career, Kobe has shot 45%. Jordan at 49.7%. Both are 9 time all defensive first team, but Kobe had a longer career. Jordan has led the league in steals 3 times, Kobe never has. Kobe is a 2x scoring champion, Jordan is a 10x scoring champ. In 1988 MJ was also DEFENSIVE PLAYER of the YEAR. Kobe has never won that award. Not to mention his 6 finals MVP awards and 5 regular season MVP awards. Those are all individual accomplishments. Kobe has also benefited from the rules change with his scoring, jordan never had that luxury. And you're right, Mike had a much higher IQ and was a smarter basketball player. Much smarter.

Seems like the Kobe vs MJ comparisons dead down once Lebron starting getting compared to both of them. These early comparisons created a lot of resentments for Lebron for the MJ and Kobe Stans. No it seem that both group of stans have put their differences aside to fight a bigger battle. They have joined forces to pray for Lebron demise. I don't ever think I've witness this extreme hate that Lebron is getting. Hopefully it'll die down once the 4th coming arrives in the NBA. Maybe he'll get hated by all 3 stan groups.


Anyhow, I don't see this debate ever dying down. Just like Pac vs Biggie, Jay-Z vs Nas Cash Money vs No limit

Im a Kobe fan, but ima embrace the fourth coming like hes my son (Unles he turns out to be Jabari ). I just need that nikka to be a Laker or on some sh!t random squad in the East.
