to OP, yes...but i'm gonna go left and say in sports we wouldn't think of

like a baseball player who is a LEGIT PGA caliber scratch golfer....or gold medal track star who is competitive in tennis majors.

thats the way it'll probably go down. Steph has played in a pro tourney before i think, and there's tons of other guys across team sports who are scratch golfers.

So maybe a guy who plays in the NFL but then plays PGA tourneys in the spring.

Major sport? Probably not.

But I can see there maybe one day where a random nfl CB or WR may have legit competitive track speed/ potential

That was going to be Nate Robinson, but Basketball was the path with the most longevity.

Nate and Ted Ginn were the likely the last two who had a legitimate shot at competing in two sports.

I could see Bronny doing professional gaming while he leads a G-League roster.

Not for nothing Jeff Semardja (or however the fukk you spell it ) maybe coulda did It.. I know he was pitching for the cubs a while back and he seemed nice at ND at receiver..idk if he was a legit draft prospect though

I don’t think so.

Sports have become so specialized over the years. If you play baseball, you’re playing it all year long. High school. Summer leagues. Traveling teams.

There’s no room to play another sport enough to get good at it. Certainly not good enough to go pro in both.

You can argue that not playing a variety of sports is bad for long term health and development. And you might be right. But that’s not changing this trend any time soon.

Even if you want to point at guys like Kyler Murray or Jameis Winston or Tim Tebow, ultimately none of them were able to play both at the highest level.

Those seasons basically run parallel
