In the past 30 years. How many Black male victims of police murder were wearing a suit at the time?

This isn’t an emotional question. Its not a rhetorical question. It’s strictly a question about data.

you’re being deceitful as hell lol...it’s a loaded question that you already have an “answer” for in mind...OP really has you trying to act different in this thread tho since he’s pointing out how bullshyt your “question” is

Back in those days everyone wore suits. Even poor people and street dudes (of all races)

I specifically asked about modern racist attacks for a reason.

They wore what they had available. Which is why people talking about lynchings in suits make no sense. Jordan's and sweats and slides wasn't available. shyt sneakers were only worn for sports up until 1970's

I agree. Which is why my question was specifically about modern racist attacks by police. Posting a bunch of Black and white photos with brothers in zoot suits is not addressing my question.

Most black men and women from the civil rights ERA want to talk to OP. To even suggest that bullshyt is to ignore history outright
The OP clearly said modern racism. The past 30 years.

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.

It’s like someone asking

“Who is the best NBA player of the past 30 years?”

And y’all flooding the responses with pictures of Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell.

:mjlol:

And some of y’all are smart posters that I respect. But it seems like y’all are hell bent with having a debate with the voices in your head and not the words in front of you.

c00n shyt to even ponder. This is why respectability politics is so dangerous. It allows the oppressed to blame themselves for the hate the oppressor has for them, thinking they can change something other than their whole existence:snoop:

there’s nothing to debate...lol at “voices” when I’m literally reposting what YOU said...only inner turmoil is on your part cuz you want to act different now that the OP highlighted your quote for more ppl to see and want to pretend like you were asking a question with no heavy implications in mind

Dressing nice gets you better treatment, generally speaking. It's a fact.

Even yesterday I went to the ER with my dad, I got pretty decent service. But when my brother got there the treatment was excellent because he dresses like an exec. The employees are more responsive to that, typically.
I was trying to flush out a theory I had. I was asking for y’all help with examples before I expounded, because maybe I was ignorant of the facts and my theory was based on bad data.

Y’all are so sensitive and combative. We couldn’t even get to where I was trying to go.

Lesson learned. This probably isn’t the forum to go deeper than service level on some conversations. Or perhaps I’m the wrong messenger.

IF you had something important to say then you should’ve/should just say it...easiest way to shut folks up and get them to listen...seems more so that you’re just being defensive OP brought light to your “question”

None was murdered.... None that I can recall.. There were plenty of elected officials pulled over though.. Even remember a black female layer being pulled over and questioned...

But none i recall being murdered..

I don't know what your underlying thoughts are on this subject, but if I think I'm on the same page with you, the conversation you're seeking to have can't be had on here. I mean it can, but it won't be productive.
