He's got hype but he doesn't have a big team behind him. He's signed to 300, not Def Jam. The 300 model is to sign bubbling artists that are about to make major noise viral. So they don't need massive marketing money.

Young Thug is currently making like $80,000 a show, according the booking website that you have to contact in order to schedule him to perform.

He is not going anywhere anytime soon, and I'm sure lyor is VERY happy with Young Thug right now.
