He meant the song could do more for the culture if it was done by a currently more so sought after artist who also happens to have credibility as well.

Or .... Just maybe... The "culture" needs to seek out messages in music similar to this one....... regardless of who or what is hot......

That's how the shyt used to be...... New nikkas thinking P.E., PRT, X Clan, Geto Boyz, Brand Nubian, Hieroglyphics, King Sun, etc caught on because of a buzz or push from a major, as opposed to speaking to what was the pulse of the hip hop community at the time....

Thing I like about Willie D is, its so clear and straightforward. I love technical rhymers, love verbiage, multi's, subliminals, metaphors, rapid flows, bars, etc.. Willie D never has nor ever will be technical. Its blunt, offensive, to the point, straight forward, concise, etc., and thats needed within Hip Hop. Just fukkin say it like you mean it! Its that simple at times.

Why so confrontational? Anyway...

We can't ignore the herd like mentality many listeners have, they follow what's trending.

My point is that the youth of our hip hop culture in this day and age who look for more social raps usually turn to say Kendrick Lamar who in my honest opinion has some good messages but also chooses to play it very safe. Unlike say the fallen artist 2pac or Willie D in this situation. Dig?

He's still has the funniest rap album I ever heard (Going Out/Soldier). Best part was of this song is the ending when he said he would bodied that niguh Barkley. Tariq gotta use this as a intro.

All them nikkaz he mentioned are c00ns. I trust willie d cause he has judgement. Some nikkaz just throw that c00n word about with no understanding. Basically if a nikkA doing better at life that don't make him a c00n, so you c00n word happy nikkaz need to slow your roll.
