This is why it's so sad to see young 7 footers playing on the perimeter, even with the current rules a big man would still be able to dominate if they had the skillset, but so few of them are 7 feet tall and the ones that are don't have the skill.
too proud to perfect that bank shot too

Duncan the only one I can think of that consistently banks, and he just :wow:

Notice how deep he gets with just one crab dribble and/or drop step to the middle, and if you don't lean hard on him to try and remove baseline he'll spin or drop step literally right under the hoop for a guarantee'd dunk or layup with just one step. The best defense being played on him is by Bill Russell who if you watch with his own unique gifts is able to manage staying behind Wilt with a hard lean while simultaneously reaching over to 'front' the entry pass. Russell's approach is about as good a post defense as you can throw at Wilt without zone but it still looks almost useless given the variety of shots Wilt had. If Russell reaches too far Wilt drives baseline on some helpless Celtic guard or forward that rotated in. If Russell does his strategy right though, you'll see he can keep a body on Wilt despite the attempt at spoiling the entry pass and force Wilt to take that fade away or finger roll. That's the best you can do against Wilt, try and disrupt the entry pass while still denying Wilt baseline.

His use of the glass is incredible, that turn around J looked deadly :damn:
That power on the block... then the touch of his turn around finger roll :wow:
Watching the ball dropped to him in the post.. and on one single possession he is using multiple pass fakes, taking a drop step, pump faking and then dunking... :noah:

Just an absolute scoring machine.

Watching him run the floor is incredible too... I dont think people realize how fast he was... and at that size, it doesnt make any sense. Hes probably the GOAT athlete
