Honestly all of the other nominees should’ve boycotted. Some of them shouldn’t have been nominated in the first place. Dancehall and reggae are two different genres. Soca gets totally ignored as well.

You can also blame radio for barely playing it. Hard to nominate artists you’re not exposed to.
