if you're on 8, and you're not an enterprise user, there is nothing 8 has that 10 doesn't. I understand staying on 7 but theres zero use for 8 now

Windows 10 is a much better operating system than OS X Yosemite. Yosemite is full of bugs and won't run anywhere near as good on old hardware. I basically revived this old ass AMD Athlon X2 AIO a friend of mine is still using by just adding 2GB of RAM and upgrading to WIN 10
shyt boots to the desktop in less than 30 seconds with a regular hard drive. I am thinking of adding an SSD in here to see how much of a difference it will make in terms of overall performance. CPU is old as fukk, 1.6 GHz

I think I botched my install cause I ran it on another computer and it automatically did home and just upgraded.
On my laptop it made me wipe everything clean then asked me which version..maybe cause I was using a downloaded 8.1.
Gonna redo it and see what happens.
If you have home on 8.1, you have to do home on 10.

it gave me 2 options but now im forgetting what the other was. it was home and something else
i would have chose pro, so i know that wasn't one of them.
don't really care tbh. what does pro offer that home doesnt?
