I downloaded it straight from the microsoft website and did a clean install, used a windows loader to activate it. Wouldn't let me upgrade straight from 8.1 because I have a pirated Enterprise N edition.
I don't have many apps that I use anyway.
After messing around with the upgrade until i found out the free upgrade doesn't apply to Enterprise and had to do a clean install. Since then, its been working great so far. I really like the interface...

That must be why.
So I'm running the media creation tool. It downloads everything fine. But then after it's done the window closes and nothing happens

Make sure all the important updates are installed beforehand

It saves as windows.iso on the root of your disk.
Yeah, while googling for answers of why my upgrade was aborting, i ran across some threads talking about why Enterprise wasn't part of the free upgrade and of course i was running Windows 8.1 Enterprise like you. Wasting hours trying to find a solution

People on Reddit have been successful doing the upgrade and activating it using the same way they activated 7 & 8. I had to do a clean install because the upgrade doesn't support Enterprise but was able to activate it through the same usual way...
I'm waiting until I get my wave. I want all my drivers to work. By the time I get my shyt, I think I should be good.
I went from 8 to 10 but it was saying that activate shyt. So now I went back to 7 and I'm gonna write down the product key and try to go back up to 10.
