when I was upgrading my laptop, it made me uninstall daemon tools because it's not compatible. I'm not sure if there's a similar program that works with win10

My laptop didn't have any problems. Just make sure to download ALL the Windows Updates when you get back to the Desktop after installation. I started from Windows 7 64 Bit on a Dell laptop.

yep, you need to give it a little time after it's 'finished'. it's still looking for, d/l'ing, and installing updates, indexing HDD, etc. I see a lot of people on the web freaking out because they see high CPU/disk usage and/or slow internet speeds. it's because it's still doing shyt

It's already been just as easy with the previous versions. I can get you a direct download link right now to a pre-activated Windows 7 and 8.1. It's just not provided by Microsoft.

If you have a bootleg copy that didn't clear the activation on the version you bootlegged it will catch it and not let you activate the free upgrade. If you already activated on 7 or 8 you're good I didn't activate my 8 so they caught me when I first tried 10..went back to 7 activated it and it's good now.
